I have been taking Yaz for 4 years now and cannot say sufficient good about it. I was originally prescribed a hormone supplement by my gyno because my mood swings were out of control. I was mean and assuredly felt sorry for my family, but I could not operate it. The hormone supplement made my symptoms Worse! Then my gyno told me about Yaz and told me it was like a bc and anti-depressant all in one. I tried it and my life has been normal every since! Spring 2009 I mentioned to my doc that my chest would break out once a month. My doc jumped at the chance to turn me to Seasonique. She sounded like a pharmaceutical sales rep asking me things like how would I like to have only one period every 3 months, etc. I told her the former suspect I went on Yaz was because of mood swings and not justfor birth operated and I told her how it worked for me and I was afraid to try anything else. She said this has same stuff that will operate my mood swings, etc., but with less periods. I tried it
